There has never been a more accurate saying than, “You are what you eat.”
Your food choices make a huge impact on how you look – the body doesn’t lie!
Firstly, it is important to recognise that most people who struggle with excess weight have some kind of leptin resistance. Leptin is a hormone that helps regulate your appetite. When leptin levels rise, it signals to your body that you are full, so you stop eating. If you are leptin resistant, you can end up over-eating as your body loses it’s ability to hear the signals leptin sends out.
It has been proven that refined sugar and processed carbohydrates are extremely effective at causing leptin resistance. So basically, if your diet consists of cereals, bread, sweets, fizzy drinks, pasta and ready meals, you are programming your body to create and store fat! Trust me when I say, you will never get the body you want or lose weight if you continue to eat this way. Regardless of how much exercise you do.

This means eliminating all processed foods and buying organic produce instead like meats, fish, fruits and vegetables. Avoid all sweet fizzy drinks and have pure water. Limit carbohydrates to a minimum and boost liver function by having a mug of hot water with a slice of lemon in the morning to rid all toxins from the system.

Maintaining these simple eating guidelines will vastly increase your metabolism and burn body fat, which will get you the body you’ve been dreaming of.
